"The Queen’s Arms is dedicated to serving fine British produce. They’ve certainly succeeded here and Pimlico is welcoming their new venture with wide open arms."

The Last Word
"This pub is a very welcome breath of fresh, lily-dewed air. Noticeably different, comfortable without being homely, elegant without the snobbery; The Queens Arms is a pretty decent pub"

"Its cuisine is not ambitious, but this is a notably friendly place which has found an instant following in a part of town that’s remarkably under-served. Pimlico – especially the Victoria, rather than the Sloane Square end – really is the restaurant world that time forgot.
What the area has most particularly lacked in recent times is a gastopub. Well, no longer. The former Page in Pimlico has now been elegantly (but not extravagantly) revamped, and relaunched as such. This is not a ‘foodie’ pub offering lovingly-crafted English dishes where all the ingredients are painstakingly sourced, but the menu changes weekly, and offers something for most tastes. On our visit, a well-textured risotto and a satisfying plate of steak ’n’ chips were among the highlights. Drinks, including a decent choice of wines, come reasonably priced, and the setting is charming.
It’s the service, though, which really stands out. Our (American) waitress could not have tried harder, and bar service was very amiable too. But the ultimate test is popularity with the smarter local thirtysomethings – on that basis, this place is already a palpable hit."

"The Queens Arms ticks all the gastropub boxes: upstairs, the simple dining room is decorated with homely lamps & fresh flowers; & the daily changing menu features seasonal British produce with the odd Mediterranean twist. Pub favourites – burgers, sausage & mash, rib-eye – are present & correct, but the food extends to the cheffed-up likes of mussels with saffron & tomato, or pan-fried sea bass with olives & capers. Weekday lunchers are wowed by the bargain £5 menu (braised chicken with mash or courgette, cherry tomato & Parmesan tart). A changing roster of ales are on draught, & the wine list holds plenty of choice. If you join the pub’s offer club you get a a monthly email offering you freebies!"
