Here at The Queens Arms we love wine so much we have a picture of it on our bedside table. Yet we are saddened when others don't share our passion. In a bid to sort this out once and for all, we are choosing 3 wines a week, and cutting the bottle price of them to an almost ridiculous level. Each week brings three new wines for you to try and to adore - one white, one red, and one rosé.

The Queens Arms Pie and Ale Festival 2012 - 25th January - 8th February

In Wigan there's supposedly a Pie Pie, which consists of a pie surrounded by a pie crust. There's also meant to be a pie kebab, which is made up of three small pies on a stick. I'm not sure I believe this, but then again they do love their pies in Wigan, so anything is possible. We too love our pies, and our beers, but we probably stop short of sticking three of each on a stick. But then who's to know what our chef will get up to?
